On Wednesday evening a huge Palomino filly was born at the stud. She is full sister to Bugs who was born here last year. She is out of Akland Mary Rose (Betty) by Burnock Exclusively Done. She was over 4 weeks past her due date but with a little help she made her way in to the world and fought her way to the milk bar even before she could stand and before her dam had recovered enough strength to stand. Today (Friday) she had an afternoon in the field and was cavorting around whilst a proud Mum watched.
