Sapphire

His dam is the America Olympic team double gold medal winning mare.  She is the number one mare in America.   Her sire is the famous Darco - a Belgium Warmblood.  He was one of the most successful show jumping horses ever and was also one of the top breeding sires for worldwide show jumping horses.

Darco

Darco's list of acheivements as a jumping stallion is testimony to his dream-like career and that of his rider Ludo Philippaerts who credits the stallion with getting him in to the international show jumping circuit.

As a sire, Darco, who was described by his rider as an extremely honesty and  intelligent horse was never known to produce offspring that fell short of excellence and was alwayson top of the list for breeders from all over the world.  Mares produced by him are highly coverted as brood maresand often sell for astronomical prices, while many of his male offspring have gone on to become highly successful themselves: Parco (by Darco x Attack Z) was 9th on the World Rankings List in 2001, while King Darco competed at the Atlanta Olympics with Philippaerts.

After his retirement from show jumping, Darco became one of the World's best breeding stallions for show jumpers and has remained so until his death in June 2006.

Voltaire

Temple Akropolis is sired by the reknowned Voltaire.  As an 8 year old Voltaire jumped 1.50m courses with a great deal of success.  He showed prowess in international show jumping in 1988 in Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinki, Weisbaden and Wembley. In 1989 he brought his successful career to an end by winning  the Grand Prix of Berlin.

Voltaire stands very high on the index for dressage and jumping.  He is the result of crossing two outstanding bloodlines, Furioso II and Gotthard.

He really was the first super star performance stallion that went on to prove himself as a breeding stallion.
